Small skiff of dust snow on the lake this morning 1/17.
Ice is between 5"-8" depending on your location.
Its cold so dress in layers...a shelter would be recommended for early hours.
The entire lake is accessible and safe to fish provided you have access to those areas via private property or want to hike a ways.
No shortage of perch...... bring a bucket or ice chest. Most perch are cookie-cutter 8"-10". A few pics of some larger perch.....sporadically landing some nice rainbows up to about 15" as well.
I am targeting a unicorn 15" perch this season.....I'll keep you posted.
Looks to be a nice day....yesterday was epic.
Tight Lines,
DD

Usually between 40-60ft most parts of lake. 35-40 @ state park . 3 cranks off the bottom whatever your depth usually.
