Fished the north end of the lake this morning on a few spots that looked good on the depth maps.
Ice was 8.5" average and the lake is still making good ice and weeks to come look like good ice making weather too.
Lots of large fish in this spot north of Zipphel Island.....fishing with some custom rigs I built tipped with maggots.
Take the trip to Curlew....its worth it. The buisnesses in Republic can use your patronage as well.
