The latest blast of Arctic air has made for some great ice fishing opportunities in Washington state. I decided to slip up to Fish Lake and enjoy some perch ice fishing on one of the most beautiful ice fishing lakes in the region. Using my Panoptix it didn't take long to locate a school of hungry perch and go to work on them. They biting light but the combo of a spring bobber and a camera made it hard for them to evade capture.

Also caught a sucker fish was hilarious and a first through the ice for me.
