I went out to American lake and decided it was finally time to try and catch a yellow perch on the lake. I went out with my good friend Warren. Took a little driving around but we located a few marks on the bottom and a few small schools in 80 plus feet of water. Our set up was a basic two hook rig with a 3/8 oz drop shot weight. We added some red worms to the hooks and sent them down. We found action right away but the light breeze kept blowing my aluminum boat off the school. We caught a nice handful of fish and it was a beautiful day on the water. I look forward to eating these delicious fish soon. Tight lines!
