Took my guide buddy to East end of Nunnally. Hit the water about 9:30 and fished until 3:30. Bite was really slow, matching the low rate of the hatch. Some tiny midges and a few chunky chironomids hatching but not much else happening. Best action was on size 16 snow cone chironomid run about 6 to 7 feet down. Lake was just starting to turn over with a lot of flotsam popping up late afternoon. No milfoil yet to be seen. Beautiful day on the water but hatch still not enough to start a feeding frenzy. Another week or so after the heat has showed up should be the ticket.
