Just another trip report about fishing for stocked Rainbow Trout from a kayak. Lots of bites. Easy fishing. Even caught 5 from the shore just with the Kastmaster before we even took the kayaks out onto the water lol. Trolled the jointed Rapala, caught some fish. Trolled an olive #10 woolly bugger, caught bigger fish. Hucked out the Kastmaster, caught some fish. Threw the pink Rooster Tail at a school of jumpers, caught a bunch of fish. All in all a pretty fun, chill day just catching a bunch of fish early in the season. No added weight on any of the lures. The fish were pretty shallow, with a large school hanging out in the weedy area left of the boat launch. Saw a pretty big holdover trout mixed in with a school of freshly stocked fish when I looked at my underwater camera. Of course that one didn't bite, but maybe next time :)
