Went out of Ilwaco to do some deep sea bottomfishing with a few friends. 500-600ft of water. There was 5 of us and a total of 8 fishing on a 55ft boat. I don't know if I am supposed to name business but I saw them on Northwest fishing reports so I assume it's cool. We went with Pacific Salmon Charters.
We made short order of limits of Ling cod and rockfish and I personally caught 6 halibut all of which were released and were a lot of work for no reward.
The skipper and deck hand did a great job keeping everyone fishing and on fish and they were well cared for. The weather was good a little rain but the water was fairly calm and the run in and out was nice. Definitely worth the trip!
