Only 2000 to 3000 shad going over the dam daily but thought I'd give it a shot. Fishing started out slow in the morning with low flows but got better as the current picked up later in the day. By 1 PM it was a fish on every 1 to 3 casts. I mostly used shad darts and color seemed of little consequence.
