This report is for the Willamette River near Oregon City (Clackamas County).

Did an afternoon of anchor fishing for shad. Found few fish in the first spots but finally moved into a productive slot and the bite got continually better as the day progressed. Landed around 40 fish and lost or had bites from just as many. Caught them on Wild Weasel spoons, dodgers and grubs, and plain grubs. 3' droppers to 18-20" leaders (6 lb fluoro).

Had such a blast!
