Went back up to Alder Lake for this week's fishing adventure. I decided to go on Tuesday after Labor Day. We are on the back of a spot of really sunny weather and coupled with the increase in ski boats etc. The fish were not quite as cooperative as last time. Ended with 5 cutthroat and only one kokanee. Just couldn't seem to find the kokanee this time. Pink Ice was the hot lure. Blue Ice started well but broke a hook so it had to be retired and retied later. Beautiful day on the water on a wonderful lake. If you haven't experienced Alder then definitely give it a go!
