Fished the stretch of the Spokane River from Long Lake dam to Chamokane creek. Casting along the shore with drop shots and Ned rigs. Plastics were paddletsils, swimbaits and crawdads. Working the eddy lines and current edges. We caught about 20 pikeminnow and 5 Smallmouth bass. The bass were hungry. I caught the same fish later in the day. He swallowed my plastic the first time and I failed to get it to shore. The 2nd time he spit the plastic right back out.
Aside from the nice fishing we hung out with eagles and aye wild asparagus growing there.
