Greetings!

First report here on NWFR, I'm a Walleye honk from the Nebraska; I took a position with the DOE in Richland, and I've been trying to learn the water here.

This forum has been VERY helpful, so thank you to all the contributors.

I put in at Crow Butte, and I spent most of the day pulling bottom bouncers on the edge of a long shelf about 8 miles up river from Crow Butte ( I was not alone there). I caught 3 Walleye, all around 25 - 30 FOW, and I caught many Smalllmouth up on top of the edge, about 18 - 20 FOW. I quit when it got too hot. I heard someone catching Walleye as deep as 50 FOW, so the fish are a bit spread out. Largest Walleye has just about 23", my Washington Personal Best for now. The largest Smallmouth was a respectable 15", also my current Washington personal best.
