Today was our last day chasing walleye for the summer! We are now shifting gears to target summer kings and sockeye for the remainder of the summer/fall. We had great fishing today and was able to get 35 nice walleye and also a few sturgeon the next morning! Worms and jigs were the trick in deep water. The bite was pretty steady all morning, but in the heat of the day, it slowed quite a bit. The sturgeon fishing was great using shad for the big ones and squid for the shakers.
