I love being the first on scene to the boat launch! It means you get the best parking spot! I thought I'd try to work on my drop shot skills today. Its a rig that I'm not confident using, but want more practice. I thought it could be more effective in the timbers & deeper water. Unfortunatly there were not many fish caught & no big bass worth a picture. However I did catch a few trout & they are covered in these nasty white sores with white threads or worms coming out. ????
Does anyone know what this is? Parasites? Worms, Ick? Fungal?
Are they safe to eat? (Not that I'd want to!)
On a better note, the lil bass & perch seem to be unaffected, & the water clarity is great!
