Managed to sneak out for a few hours of fishing today. Another beautiful day on the water. A little crisp in the air in the mornings.

Didn't take long for the 1st hookup. On a football jighead in about 8-10' of water. About a 1# LMB.

I start noticing a few bass swimming along the outer weedline in about 10-12' of water. So I started throwing the crankbait around.

Didn't take long before a hookup on the crank. Turns out to be another small LMB.

I start rotating the dropshot into the mix just in case and again, a quick hookup and another small LMB. Interesting because I typically catch only SMB along this shoreline.

So first 3 bass, with 3 different techniques. I stuck mainly with the crank to try and keep the perch at bay. It worked for the most part but still hooked up with a few in the mix.

So with 2.5 hrs of fishing. Landed about a dozen bass. Majority of them were LMB. 2 SMB and 1 rock bass. Several perch. No real sizes to them. Maybe 1.5# on biggest fish. Good action though. Nice to be out.
