Camping at Farragut State Park with friends over Labor Day weekend. Had no idea what we were doing, but wanted to wet some lines regardless. Cruised across to Echo Bay because that's where other people were fishing. Threw some Rapala's at the shore and hooked a few bass hiding in the rocks. They were tiny so they all went back. As we started to call it a day and pointed ourselves away from the shore while putting gear away, my buddy somehow got a small Kokanee to hit a spoon he was dragging behind us. The poor fish ended up getting a hook through the eye, so we kept it despite it being smallish. The kid got to clean and cook it for a Scout badge, so it was worth it.
