Went out of Ft Spokane with Glenn and Mike. We hit outhouse flats, casino flats and the big flat across from 7 bays. The catching was slow but the quality was excellent. Between the three of us we only caught about 10 eyes but they were all quality fish. Blade baits and jigs were best. 40 to 50 FOW was the most productive depth. 17 to 20 inches and I also caught and released a 12.5 lb pig.

Mark,
Glad to see you've been having some success! I haven't been on the water since waterfowl and big game opened up! Still have some Idaho tags left to punch! Hope you and your family have a great Thanksgiving!

Thanks for another great report. One of these days I will get a chance to release one of those pigs.

I thought I hooked a big carp.
Dan, kill something and get back on the water already.
If you don't catch something in 30 to 45 minutes move and don't be afraid to try something different like a jigging rap or a blade bait. Jigging raps are definitely a forearm workout but they have been producing some nice eyes.

I go out almost every weekend of the year. I just try to keep track of the most productive places for each season. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't. Nothing is better than spending time on the water and I spend a lot of time on the Arm.

Nice report Mark. Being cold sure slows my motivation to hunt eyes.
Glad your still killin it.??
