Launched at Ft. Spokane about 0800 the day after Thanksgiving and headed up to Split Rock for a day of Rainbow fishing. Water temp was 46.6 degrees on the surface. 2 of us fishing and it was non-stop action until about 10am when things slowed down a bit. The best early action was on black/orange flies with 3/8 oz weight behind a planer board. When things slowed down a bit about 10 o'clock when the sun came out, I put an orange Old Goat lure on the downrigger where it caught a couple fish at 14 feet and 3 more, 24 feet down. Trolling speed was about 1.8 knots. We released several wild fish and a couple of 15 inchers. Had our limit of 17-21 inch hatchery bows in the livewell around noon and smoked 'em up on Sunday.
