A worthy 5 star day on American Lake this past Wednesday. No, I don’t think it was anything I was doing special, the bite was on!

Fished around the perimeter of Silcox island in about 50-60ft of water. Ran a chartreuse wedding ring with smilie blade 2.5ft below a 50/50 dodger tipped with a hefty night crawler. Had about 15 missed opportunities and a handful of pan sized trout in the boat. The highlight was a fantastic football of a Kokanee. My personal first.

Made a small video for kicks!

Cheers all,
Ken
