We started fishing about 8am and quit around 12:30pm. We had clouds, heavy rain, and a little sun. The water temperature was 58.
Since it was my birthday, I told my son he had to let me, at least, get my line in the water before he could get a bite. Which he did. He got 2 kokanee and a trout in then I got 2 kokanee and a trout. Then he got a trout. Then I got 2 kokanee. After that I lost track. We went long periods without a bite. Then we could get doubles. While it wasn’t red hot catching, it was active.
Most of the fish came on the longlined rods, though we kept the downrigger rods close to the surface.
Worm and corn tipped our lures.
My son did most of the driving and he tried to keep the speed at 1.1 to 1.2
We quit with 7 cutthroat and 9 kokanee.
The lakes pool was 1,205.37 feet of elevation (maximum of 1,207 ft)
