Had some relatives in town so I went to my most reliable lake for some fishing fun. Waitts never disappoints. Launched about six pm and started trolling right out of the launch. Had bites immediately but couldn't boat most of them. Marked fish everywhere in water less than 40 ft deep. Most were at about 25' on the finder. About 9pm we anchored on the nw side in about 34 ft water and got hit as soon as our baits got down. Lights out for the next two hours. Lots of the little guys but also plenty of 15 inchers. Mostly rainbow but several browns in the mix. Let the bait to the bottom and SLOWLY raise it about 6 to 8 feet. If no bite, let it back down and repeat. (rarely didn't have a bite). Be ready to set on the first bump or you will have a little guy with the hook in his deep throat. Corn and worms did the trick. Left about midnight with 5 limits.
