I launched at Gifford and fished from the Inchelium Ferry North. I am starting to get handle on these Walleyes. I just added a Minn Kota Riptide Ulterra trolling motor and that has been a game changer! I can actually fish rather than run the boat. This was by far my best day fishing here.
The first few fish caught were dinks which we kept because I assumed like every other trip so far thats all I would find.
After searching for about an hour I found a depth that seemed to be where the fish were that was about 50-60 feet. Found an area that was holding fish and concentrated on that spot. We started catching some bigger fish at that point. All the fish were caught trolling smile blades and slow death hooks with worms.
I am looking forward to getting to the point that I can start doing some jigging specially since I can use the spot lock feature to hold the boat!
