This report actually covers a camping trip to Ft. Spokane from 9/11 to 9/17. There were a couple of days we didn't fish but everyday we fished we caught something. I really never connected on the Walleye, got a few eaters and a bunch of dinks and lots of dink smallies eating my worms. I picked Wednesday because it was my best day for trout. The wife had to go into town for a meeting and my son was bringing his boat out so I had my boat all to myself. After trying a couple of spots for Walleye and getting pecked to death by smallies I switched over to troll for Rainbow. Fished on some water I had never tried down below Porcupine and picked up the first fish at 12:40 and got fish number 5 at 1:15. Had 2 doubles and a single. Easy money. So the next day Marcia and I go back to the same spot and do the same thing and it took over 3 hours to get her limit. Go figure. Then on Saturday we were more boating/sight seeing down around Stirling Point and still managed to put 9 in the boat before it was time to head for home. A week well spent.
