Good to be on the water after a year of no fishing. Fished 3 days, all day the 26th, afternoon of the 27th, and morning of the 28th. Weather and lake conditions were awesome on the 26th so we stayed on the water all day, put 5 in the cooler that morning and finished a limit that afternoon. Next day fished afternoon only, quite choppy conditions, and put 6 in the cooler in about 2hrs. Friday we fished morning only, and after a quick flurry of activity, the bite just quit with 4 in the cooler. All good, we had our legal 2 possession limits so all came home at once.
Technique and gear same as the majority of my reports, speed was 2.8 - 3.2mph, surface temps were 63° (too warm IMO), and weather ranged from clear, calm, sunny to overcast, windy, spitting rain. As always, Kekeda flies (orange/black worked best) tipped with half a crawler 150' out.
