Hit the Kettle River Saturday night with my gf. We got this place dialed in. Check my previous reports for methods.

Ice went up to the bridge and took ghe southern half of the channel. If you follow my methods, this wasn't a problem. Casted put to the ice line, closed the bail and let the baits swing down into the main channel right below you at the cliff. Had our limits in the usual 4 hours. Fish were much fatter and mostly females.

What worked: Carolina rigs, floating beads snd circle hooks

What didn't work: assuming Backyard BBQ would be open so I bould grab dinner on the way up. Idk what it is with that place, they are closed for large periods of time. All I can say is they have the best BBQ I've ever tasted.
