Hit up this lake as it has a strong perch bite, which is rare for a Lake in Eastern Washington. These fish are aggressive. 1 to 2 inch rod tip movements. Jig, jig, vibrate, pause. I deadsticked the 1/16th Oz jig with a perch eye and did my movements on a Swedish pimple. I mention this in my curlew Report as well, For some reason the Swedish pimple brings more bites to the jig. Stayed 4 hours, caught 20-someting.

I slso mentioned this in three curlew report, Most people that were out on ice with me said it was a terrible day. After they left I'd go out and drop down into their hole with my technique and I bring up a perch immediately. I cannot stress enough that if you aren't catching a perch every 5 minutes you need to change up your area or change up your technique.

What worked: Swedish pimple with grub, deadsticked jig with perch eyes.

What didn't work: not fishing with me! All those suckers around me were convinced it was a terrible day.
