Giving the report a 2 makes it sound like it was a bad day. Had a good day on the water just couldn't catch fish, so a 2 it is. Fished out of Ft. Spokane and it was so foggy when we started I decided to just start fishing there in the confluence instead of running down to Keller. Had a new friend on the boat who had never really fished from a boat before and unfortunately the bite was pretty slow so he didn't get much of a chance to practice. Think we had 4 hits there in the morning and landed one nice 18 incher. By the time the fog cleared I didn't really feel like running all the way to Keller so we just went down below Lincoln and worked that area for awhile. Didn't somebody say something about never leaving fish to find fish? Never got a bite down there. Went to the mouth of Hawk Creek and tried bouncing for Walleye for a little while but I just wasn't feeling it so we went sight seeing up the Arm for a bit. Went up to the cemetery and never encountered any ice. Went back down and gave up while it was still daylight which is a bit strange for me. When we left the parking lot everything was fine but once we got to the top of the hill it was really foggy. Tough drive as far as Davenport.
Trying to remember but it seems like January has never been all that great for me. Takes me a few trips to get things going.
Stay after them, it's the right thing to do.
