Took a couple of buddies to Porcupine Bay. Due to ice fog, we had to chip ice out of our rod guides until 1300. Just like the weather, the fishing was cold. For the day we caught 10 eyes and 3 trout. All were caught on jigs and we went up as far as buoy 5, never had a bite, and down as far as the first island upriver from the Ft Spokane launch. We cleaned 6 eyes and the 3 slimers. We did see 5 otters, numerous deer and tons of eagles while on the water. The catching was slow but it was still nice to be on the water .
