Took Glenn out to the Arm. We launched at first light and headed down river to try a couple of main Porcupine Bay points. In 5 hours we caught 5 eyes. 4 were eaters and the other was too large to keep. Then we headed up. We started at buoy 1 and worked our way up. In the next 3 hours we caught about 25 eyes. Glenn only wanted to keep about a dozen eaters. We cleaned 13 eyes between 16 and 19 inches. Everything else was 20 to 25 inches. Although we tried blade baits and jigging raps we only had luck with jigs. We were definitely outnumbered by the trollers today. If you plan on going above buoy 3 you have to know where the channel is. Even then you might find yourself in less than 10 FOW so be extra cautious.
