3/31/2023 9:32:55 AMSame thing is happening everywhere. Just going to get worse now with the Governor's deeper involvement in the commission appointments. Was what was supposed to be an independent commission with oversight of WDFW has now turned into another tool in the never ending drive to increase commercial fishing and reduce sport fishing. And yes, 90% of tribal fishing is "for profit". Washington state could be a premier sport fishing destination, but it has been turned into a commercial, for profit kill zone managed to take every possible fish until the stock collapse.
