Launched with Glenn and another buddy out of 7 Bays. We slowly worked our way up from Ft Spokane stopping at various points and flats. The water is quite stained and visibility is about 2 feet. With the stained water, bright swimbaits and senkos worked best overall. For the day we boated over 40 eyes, 4 smallies and 1 trout. Glenn got the biggest eye at 7.5 lbs, our buddy caught several in the 5 lb range and I got one about 5 lbs. We released all of the larger eyes plus a few dinks. We cleaned 32 quality eaters. If you go above buoy 3 beware as the water level is down almost 50 feet and is quite shallow as you go higher.

Any news or updates on the nets in the Spokane Arm if they are still there?

KFEDKA. If they are out they're above buoy 5. Which makes no sense as there no spawning areas for pike which means all they are going to catch are walleyes. I'm no fish biologist but even I know pike spawn in old weedbeds and there are no weedbeds anywhere in the Arm right now. The few that are in the Arm are about 40 feet above the water level. The Arm is all fast current river.

Nice report Mark and some quality 'eyes too! Btw, that one dock at Seven Bays is usable to 1227', I have personally launched there at 1229'. Looks like the reservoir has stabilized at ~1240'.

Nice eyes Mark, and thank you for the report. I would anticipate after the rain the last few days the spokane might be getting more more murky.

Jedi the Arm is blown out. Quite a muddy mess. A couple of buddies went out today and only got a few smalleyes. They ended up out on the main Columbia River and even though the water was clear, the fishing was extremely tough. The muddy water extended halfway down Porcupine Bay so in a day or so it should be to the mouth.
