I went camping and fishing at Potholes reservoir this weekend. I got there late Saturday, set up my tent, and started seeing fish jumping. I got on the water and only could entice one, but it was 2.5-3 pounds- my personal best. Saw some other very big smallies jumping straight up almost clearing the water, and also saw carp jumping this weekend. I caught 5 smallies between saturday night and sunday morning- all on an orange spinner. They are biting near rocky shores. DIdn't catch or see any other species except carp.
