I think this lake is seriously overrated. I got on the water by 7:15 and the water feels warm, fish should have been active. I saw a few trout jump and that was it. I only caught one small fish, a rockbass, my first. Lots of boats on the water, making obnoxious wakes, but I didn't see anyone else catch anything. I think this lake is almost fished out. I tried several different lures that usually catch fish and some bait as well and tried different depths trolling and casting. I will have to be desperate to come back here again. It is only 20 minutes from me, that's all it has going for it.
