This lake appears to have no fish in it. I think this is the fourth time I've tried fishing it and didn't see even a hint of fish. I got on the water about 7 am so there should have been fish close to shore or near the surface but I trolled all over that part of the lake and didn't see anything. Visibility is about 20 feet. It's such a shame to have a big, beautiful, easily accessed lake with no fish in it. I think I read that WDFW is going to stock some cutthroat so hopefully one of these years it will be fishable.

I respect the effort. I've pretty much given up on those high elevation reservoirs. Not enough nutrients and a short growing season means the fish never get big or very abundant in Kachees, Keechelus, Cle Elum, Rimrock, and Bumping. Kokanee in August can be decent, stocker trout size, at Rimrock some years. That's the only time I feel like it's worth the trip.
