My son forgot to set his alarm so we got a late start. Also, I found that I had a low tire on my vehicle which needed to be taken care of. We got to the launch and the parking lot was filling up. Lake level had risen from last week to 1,201.58 feet. There was less debris in the way.
The water temperature was 68 degrees. It was cloudy with a slight breeze that made it chilly. It was about 55 degrees out until the clouds burned off for the sun to shine.

We longlined with 1/8oz weight but they didn’t get as much action as last week. Bait was corn and pink maggots with an occasional worm. The downriggers were between 15-30 feet down. Our speed went from 1 to 1.6mph. We were on the water between 9am-12pm. We only got 5 cutthroat trout to the boat but my excitement came when I got a double in with Adam’s help!
