So I went hiking today to some lakes, but didn't have luck at the lake I fished. Then I fished a pond that was in the area and though it didn't have a lot of fish, they were pretty big and fought hard. Spinners fishing deep did the trick. I think the first fish was 13-14" and the second one and one that got off the hook and jumped clean out of the water were both around 15-16". Hard fighting rainbows with bright red stripes and big spots. They don't seem to be normal Washington rainbows.
