I went out to Tanwax today and found some fish but it was hard work. There are a lot of people there right now, congested boat ramp. I caught one crappie, one perch, and 3 or 4 pumpkinseeds, my first ever. I didn't see anyone else catch anything, it looks like they were all looking for bass. Another kayaker said he caught some baby bass, but I haven't ever seen any here. There were some trout (I think) surfacing at the far end of the lake early, but they stopped around 9.

I caught the perch and sunfish on a dropshot- the first time I ever caught fish that way. I like this lake, but I think they need to do some more stocking.
