I went to lake Washington this morning to see what I could find dropshotting. This is the first time I caught fish in this lake since I was a teenager. I didn't find a huge number of fish or anything big, though I did hook a couple decent sized fish that got away. I caught several perch and pumpkinseed sunfish. The biggest perch was around 9-10 inches, most were 5-6 and the pumpkinseeds were all small though I did hook a big one that got away near the boat. I also saw a huge bass in the weeds when I was coming in to shore for a break I think it was a smallmouth, around 5-10 pounds. I will definitely go back and see if I can catch anything bigger. I had the water almost to myself today and it was totally beautiful.
