Hit the Skokomish River tide fats before sunrise with drifting down in my kayak out to saltwater. Could see schools of salmon coming up river past me. Went jigging around in deeper water.

Nailed a really big tuna-shaped chinook!!!!!!

Had to paddle in to shore to get photo. Didn't want to leave fish on stringer risking seal stealing it or taking a bite out.

Went home happy with my one fat chromer king.

Lots of fish caught the next day on creel reports for Skokomish Tide flats.
