None of my buddies were available so I went solo to Porcupine Bay. I launched at first light and hit some channel edges near some of the larger flats in porky. I purposely didn't bring my trolling gear which forced me to use only jigs and jigging raps. Early on I targeted deeper water but once the wake boarders and tubers got going, I started looking for mud lines near deep water and trees. The bite was pretty good up until 1000 then it really slowed down. For the morning I caught 38 eyes and one dink smallie. I never planned on keeping any but if I had, I could have had 12 nice 16 to 18 inch eaters. The rest were dinks.
