I got to the lake very late in the day after hiking and driving all over the hood canal area. I got on the water about 4 and it was windy and stormy looking. After so much rain I thought this might be the only lake that wouldn't be muddy because of how clear it is and I was right. I was only on the water 10-15 minuets when I hooked this fish near the shore of a bay. At first I thought it was a bass because of how fat and heavy it was. It looks like a rainbow but has throat slashes. The only fish I saw or caught but it's ok because it was around 20 inches and 3 pounds. The water didn't feel too cold, I would guess mid 50's.
