Another tough day for jigging. Glenn and I caught 12 eyes, 1 trout and 1 burbot . I would highly recommend trolling large flats in porcupine bay. The high water level has not forced the main herd of walleyes to go upriver yet. Glenn and I are too stubborn to troll. We are used to the water level being much lower. It should not be this tough at the end of March. The water is 45 degrees and the eyes should be getting pretty randy about now but the eyes we cleaned weren't close to being ready to spawn. It can only get better.
