2nd time out for the year. Tried to get out on the water a couple of weeks ago but motor wasn't peeing. So never left the dock. Fortunately it was an easy and cheap $5 repair. Today was able to confirm the fix.

Got on the water at about 10 AM. Drive around the lake for a bit to do function tests to make sure everything else was operating correctly.

Started off with a jerkbait in shallow waters. First fish of the year is a perch. Then a dink smallie. Then a 2# smallie.

Switched to a dropshot after a while when the sun came out and had on a pretty nice smallie. 2.5-3# prob. Did a couple awesome jumps but came off on the 2nd one at boat side.

Doggo was getting antsy bc she had to go #2, so called it a day at 12:15p.
