Another beautiful day on the water. Started off with topwater but zero action. So rotated to start fishing deeper with dropshot. That was the ticket. Found smallies in clusters scattered in about 12-20' of water. Outside weedline.
Best was maybe 2.5#. Did land 1 LMB but it was a dink.
Also I've never seen this before but I was fishing a deep point. I could see something deep in the water but couldn't tell what it was. As I'm fishing I see it rising upwards slowly. To my surprise when it reached the surface, it was a fully intact clam.
