I hiked up to Annette lake with my raft last month and found some fish. The bite was around 11:15 to 12:00 and after that they would only eat bugs. The trout population is healthy but small fish, the biggest ones I saw were maybe 9 inches. This is a tough hike to bring a raft as it's mostly uphill.
