Giving this day a 5 because we were finally able to schedule a day with my neighbor and his kids; getting them out for some solid fishing action. We had a real fun day and their father and I were both proud of them and impressed with their fishing skills. These Young Guns are on the fast track to becoming great Fishers. We had both constant trout action and "proof of Perches";) The youngest Gun got us off to a great start with a 14" perch within the first 5 minutes. We finished the day with some additional quality perch the last 20 minutes. All fish caught were either from slow trolling or casting. A chunk of nightcrawler worked best for the perch and pink and chartreuse hoochie style baits for the trout.
