We fished 9:30 to just after noon. The weather was beautiful. The water temp was 50-51 degrees.
I had zero bites and my son had 2 with a trout in the boat. From watching the videos, I can see that the fish do not like human blood. First, when closing the rod holder, it pinched the skin between my forefinger and thumb. Essentially taking a bite out of me. Just as the blood was stopping, I stuck a hook into my forefinger releasing more blood.
I did put scent on the lures but they could still smell that blood.
