I decided to go fishing after work since I only fished one place this weekend and got skunked. I got to the lake about 530 and started trolling. Someone told me there were smallmouth in this lake so I paddled over to where it's pretty rocky and searched for bass but the only bass I could find was a rock bass. I also caught a nice chunky rainbow but my line broke while I was trying to yank the hook out and my lure and the fish sank to the bottom. Overall I lost 3 nice lures for only 2 fish and only a couple other bites. I think this lake doesn't have enough fish in it, I didn't even see any feeding or jumping. They should put some bluegills in here at least.
