I fished from the shore at Leschi park and caught several rock bass and perch, then I moved to Madrona park and caught a few more perch and one small pumpkinseed. I was using a very small vintage spinner with two tiny split shot weights and an ultra light rod and reel, 4 lb line. My experience was interrupted by an old busybody who lives across the street from Leschi park and she accused me of killing fish. I explained that I catch and release because the water is polluted and it is not safe to eat these fish, but they are not harmed.
