I usually fish Diablo several times a year. The lake was low and ugly near the highway like it just turned over, but further down it was it's normal beautiful blue-green. Fish were jumping here and there and biting but just nipping on my lures and I only landed 2 fish. They were pretty small though I did get a bite from one that looked about 12 inches. The water was around 52 degrees which is probably why the fish weren't biting well. I'm not sure where the bigger fish were, hopefully they will show up soon. It was still fun and the scenery was amazing as always.
